Here upon the famous Pale Blue Dot dwells a man who spends his days obsessing over things like KPop music, foreign languages (particularly Japanese and Korean), Buddhism, BSD UNIX and science fiction. He is blessed by a wife and children that he loves dearly and who tolerate his odd habits.

Why The Blog Title?

This blog is a clean break from an older blog I wrote, and was inspired by this classic scene from the TV show, Star Trek: The Next Generation:

Although its scent still lingers on the form of a flower has scattered away for whom will the glory of this world remain unchanged? Arriving today at the yonder side of the deep mountains of evanescent existence we shall never allow ourselves to drift away intoxicated, in the world of shallow dreams.
